            1238-1240         Large-scale raids of Mongolo-Tatars against
                              Kyivan Rus. They seized all princedoms and
                              approached Kyiv.
            1240              Mongolo-Tatar  troops  of  Batu  Khan
                              occupied Kyiv, which was under the authority
                              of  Danylo  of  Galicia  since  1239  and  was
                              defended by voivode Dmytro.
            1241              The  raid  of  Mongolo-Tatars  against  Galicia,
                              Volhynia, Czechia, Poland.
