                              possible  owing  to  efforts  of  Ukraine  in  the
                              branch of intellectual property protection and
                              due to the fact that legislature was changed to
                              comply with the world regulations and rules.
            September, 3-8   The  political  crisis  in  Ukraine.  The  state
            2005              secretary   O.   Zinchenko     accused   the
                              president’s  entourage  of  misusage  of  their
                              authority  and  corruptive  actions.  Constant
                              conflicts  of  the  National  Security  and  the
                              Supreme  Council  developed  into  political
                              crisis. President V. Yushchenko took radical
                              measures to change executives of the National
                              Security,  government  and  Secretariat.  The
                              state   secretary,   prime    minister    Y.
                              Tymoshenko  and  her  government,        the
                              secretary  of  the  National  Security  P.
                              Poroshenko  resigned.  Y.  Yekhanurov  was
                              assigned the acting prime minister, A. Kinakh
                              was  assigned  the  secretary  of  the  National
                              Security, O. Rybachuk was assigned the state
                              secretary.  Despite  the  measures  taken,
                              contradictions  between  the  government  and
                              the Supreme Council remained.
            September, 22   Y.  Yekhanurov  was  assigned  the  Prime
            2005              Minister  of  Ukraine.  After  the  second
                              attempt,  the  Supreme  Council  assigned  Y.
                              Yekhanurov  by  289  votes.  The  necessary
                              quantity of votes was obtained due to the fact
                              that  V.  Yushchenko,  Y.  Yekhanurov  and  V.
                              Yanukovych signed a memorandum of mutual
                              understanding of power and opposition.
