                              Supreme  Court  banned  CEC  to  promulgate
                              the  election  results.  At  the  same  time,  V.
                              Yanukovych’s  headquarters  planned  to
                              conduct  his  inauguration  on  November,  26.
                              Despite  the  ruling  of  the  Supreme  Court,  at
                              the industrial complex “The Press of Ukraine”
                              an issue of the newspaper “The Governmental
                              Courier” was printed with the CEC resolution
                              about V. Yanukovych’s victory. The printing
                              process was stopped by deputies from faction
                              “Our Ukraine”.
            November, 26      In Vokzalna Square in Kyiv the meeting of V.
            2004              Yanukovych’s  supporters  took  place.  They
                              came by trains from Donbas and other eastern
                              regions  of  Ukraine.  The  session  of  Luhansk
                              oblast  council  resolved  to  establish  the
                              autonomous  South-East  Ukrainian  Republic.
                              They appealed to V. Putin for its recognition
                              by Russia. InMariinsky Palace, surrounded by
                              demonstrators,  there  was  a  meeting  of  “the
                              round  table”  organized.  The  president  of
                              Ukraine  L.  Kuchma,  V.  Yushchenko,  V.
                              Yanukovych,  the  president  of  Poland  O.
                              Kvasnevsky,  the  president  of  Lithuania  V.
                              Adamkus,  the  Commissar  of  EU  of  foreign
                              affairs  H.  Solana,  the  general  secretary  of
                              OSCE  (Organization  for  Security  and
                              Cooperation  in  Europe)  Y.  Kubish  and  the
                              chairman  of  the  State  Duma  of  Russia  B.
                              Hryzlov participated in it. The parties agreed
                              to abstain from applying force and formed a
                              working group to settle the political crisis.
