The chronicle of events:
During the night of November, 22, it became
known, that the authority organized mass
falsification of the election results. The
quantity of voters increased in some regions
even after voting stations had been closed.
After meeting with S. Kivalov, a head of
CEC, V. Yushchenko declared nonconfidence
to CEC and called for protest against
falsifications. People, despite many obstacles
of authority, came to Kyiv from each part of
Ukraine and gathered on the Maidan
Nezalezhnosti (the Independence Square).
The first tents appeared there. “The Orange
