August 1918 The establishment of the Ukrainian National
Union (UNU). That coalition formation
appeared in the process of UNSU (Ukrainian
National State Union) reformation. The
leadership of UNU was taken by Ukrainian
Socialist Democrats and Socialist
Revolutionaries (SR). The UNU appeared as
opposition against hetmanate of P.
Skoropadsky. The goal of the union was to
form democratic power, responsible to the
parliament, abolish large land ownership, etc.
Since September V. Vynnychenko became
the head of UNU.

restored regarding the punishment for
participation in strikes, meetings and
manifestations.
