June With support of German military
1918 administration, The government of general
Sulkevych was formed in the Crimea. It
proclaimed independence of the Crimean
peninsula. As a result of economic blockade
of hetmanate, the Crimea had to carry on
negotiations with Kyiv.
June, 14 The law “About the right of sale and
1918 purchase of land out of city dwelling”. The
purchase land plots were not to be more than
25 dessiatines.
July, 1 The foundation of the Kamyanets-Podilsky
1918 State University.
July, 2 The law “About citizenship of Ukrainian
1918 State”. It was banned to be citizen of other
country at the same time. The Ukrainian
citizenship was given to all subjects of
Russia, that is, all residents of Ukrainian
provinces, which were on the territory of
Ukraine for July, 2, 1918. The Ukrainian
citizenship was also granted to a person, who
lived outside Ukrainian State provided he put
in an application. Other cases of getting
citizenship were stipulated too.
July, 5-12 І Congress of the Communist Party of
1918 Bolsheviks of Ukraine. The congress was
conducted in Moscow. The CP (b)U was
formed as a constituent part of the Russian
Communist Party of Bolsheviks (RCP (b)),
with rights of the regional organization.
