January, 16 The battle of Kruty. The detachment of
(29) volunteer students headed by sotnik
1918 Omelchenko tried to stop the attack of
Bolshevist troops against Kyiv. The students
failed to stop the overwhelming forces of Red
Army.
January, 16 The Bolshevist uprising at the plant
(29) “Arsenal” in Kyiv. After 5 days of fight, the
1918 troops of C.C. managed to suppress the
uprising.
January, 26 The seizure of Kyiv by Bolshevist Russian
(February, 8) troops under the commandment of M.
1918 Muravyov. C.C. moved to Zhytomyr. More
than 5 thousand people became victims of the
