Ukrainian Central Council (UCC) arose as a
public organization and the coordinating
centre of Ukrainian national movement. M
Hrushevsky was elected the head of C.C. The
C.C. was not elected, but formed by means of
co-optation; it was filled up by the
representatives of different parties, various
social sections of population by delegating
them to the Central Council. By autumn,
1917, it included 822 members.
March - April The Constituent Congress of Ukrainian

Autonomists-Federalists”, which soon
