with all employees who are employed on a permanent or temporary basis,
irrespective of their education, work experience and position;
with employees of other organizations who come to the enterprise and are
directly involved in the production process or perform other work for the
enterprise;
with pupils and students who have come to the enterprise to undergo
working or vocational training;
with excursionists in case of excursion to the enterprise.
Introductory briefing is conducted by a specialist of the labor protection
service or other specialists in accordance with the order (instruction) of the employer,
who, in accordance with the established Standard provision, has received training and
examination of knowledge on occupational safety.
Introductory briefing is conducted in the occupational safety office or in a
specially equipped room, using modern technical training tools, manuals which are
based on the program, developed by the occupational safety service taking into
account the peculiarities of production.
The program and the duration of the briefing are approved by the employer of
the enterprise.
2) The Initial briefing is carried out before the beginning of work directly in
the workplace with the employee:
a newcomer (permanently or temporarily) to an enterprise or to an
individual who employs hired labor;
which is transferred from one structural unit of the enterprise to another;
who will perform a new job for him;
a seconded employee of another enterprise who is directly involved in the
production process at the enterprise.
It is conducted with pupils, cadets, and students of educational institutions:
before the beginning of labor or vocational training;
before completing each training task related to the use of different
mechanisms, tools, materials, etc.
The initial briefing is conducted individually or with a group of individuals of
one specialty according to occupational safety instructions for the work performed.
Employees newly recruited to the enterprise after initial briefing before the
independent work should undergo an internship (at least 2-15 shifts) or duplication
(at least six shifts), under the guidance of experienced, skilled workers.
3) The Repeated briefing is conducted at the workplace individually with an
individual employee or a group of workers performing the same type of work,
according to the scope and content of the list of initial briefing questions.
