5 TRAINING ON OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY
The regulatory act "NPAOP 0.00 - 4.12 - 05 Model Regulations on the
procedure for training and testing on the labour protection" establishes the order
and types of training and forms of assessment.
The employees in the process of hiring and at work should undergo an exercise
briefing, should be trained and tested of the occupational safety, first aid to victims of
accidents, the rules of conduct in case of an accident, which are financed by the
employer's expense.
Responsibility for the organization and implementation of briefings, training
and testing of employees' knowledge of occupational safety and health is entrusted to
the employer.
Before the testing of the safety of workers at the enterprises is organized
learning: lectures, seminars, and consultations.
Testing of the knowledge of workers on occupational safety is produced by the
testing of normative legal acts on labor protection, compliance with which is part of
their duties.
Testing of the knowledge of workers on safety at the enterprises is carried out
by the Commission of the testing knowledge on the safety enterprise, whose
membership is approved by the employer.
The Commission is considered eligible if it is composed of at least three
persons.
Persons, who during the testing on safety demonstrate the satisfactory level of
the knowledge, receive a certificate of testing on the safety.
In this case, in the protocol compiled by the Commission, and in the certificate
in a concise manner are specified list of basic legal acts on occupational safety and
safe performance of specific types of work, to the extent that the worker has been
tested knowledge.
The employees during a month must undergo retraining and re-assessment if
they demonstrate unsatisfactory results of testing on the safety
Employees, including officials, who have not an exercise briefing, training
and testing of occupational safety, are not allowed to work.
5.1 Special Training and Examination of Knowledge on
Occupational Safety
Officials and other employees,
1) employed in high-risk works (according to the List of high-risk works
approved by the order of the Derzhnagliadohoronprachi in 2005) or
2) employed in jobs where there is a need for professional selection
(according to the List of works where there is a need for professional selection,
approved by the order of the Ministry of Health and the Derzhnagliadohoronprachi in
1994),
