                       DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (DMS)
This system is used for storage and management of company’s
documents such as word processing documents, spreadsheets, and
presentations. Documents are stored in a central repository. DMS
Supports access control, security, document version tracking, search
capability, etc. Users can be assigned access to selected parts of the DMS
               repertory.
Google Docs and office live workspace are two famous web-based
DMS. These DMS can be used by both individuals and organization. The
access to the DMS may be fee-based.
                       WORKFLOW
A workflow is a defined process that identifies specific steps
required to complete a project or process. The rules in a workflow can be
written rules or rules embedded in an information system. For example, a
workflow in a bank can define how a check is to be processed once it is
received. A workflow application is a program that helps managing ad
tracking all activities in the business process from start to finish.
