its own method and format of reporting data, unique security
requirements, and a unique interface. Integrating multiple service
providers, through a single interface, adds immediate value to the business
               consumer.
                       SOFTWARE AS A SERVICE (SAAS)
In this model, applications are hosted by a vendor or service
provider and made available to customers over a network, typically the
Internet. The traditional model of software distribution, in which software
is purchased and installed on personal computers, is sometimes referred
to as software as a product.
SaaS is gaining popularity as the underlying technologies that
support web services and service-oriented architecture (SOA) are
maturing, and broadband Internet access is increasingly available in many
               parts of the world.
SaaS model can have two variations: hosted application
management and software on demand. In hosted application management,
a provider hosts commercially available software for customers and
delivers it over the Web. In the software on demand model, the provider
provides its customers access over the network to a single copy of
software application created specifically for SaaS distribution.
SaaS provides many benefits, e.g. easier administration, automatic
software updates and patch management, easier collaboration,
compatibility, low entry cost and risk for customers, increased customer
               software security, and global accessibility.
