                    Internal constraints  are those  non-physical variables that constitute  the core cognitive
              activities  of  the  act  of  translating.  These  include  the  cognitive,  textual,  interlingual  and
              attitudinal  variables  that  impact  the  act  of  translating.  Internal  constraints  can  be  further
              classified into two overlapping domains: comprehension and production.
