BASIC SAFETY RULES IN THE LABORATORY OF
                  ORGANIC CHEMISTRY. FIRST AID DURING
                                    ACCIDENTS

                 Successful and safe execution of laboratory work is possible
           subject to compliance with the basic safety requirements when
           working in a chemical laboratory. General rules:the laboratory is
           strictly forbidden:
                 a) to take food, drink water from a chemical dish;
                 b) taste the chemical reagents, allow their contact with the
           skin;
                 c) to leave open harmful chemical reagents and to store
           substance in the table without the appropriate inscription;
                 d) take to work reagents of unknown origin, carry out
           syntheses in contaminated dishes;
                 e) lean over the dish in which the fluid is boiling;
                 f) pour into the shell concentrated solutions of acids and
           alkalis, as well as organic solvents, strongly odorous and
           flammable substances, to dispose of the remnants of metallic
           sodium;
                 g) tighten the organic matter and their solutions in the
           pipette. The laboratory needs to keep silence, maintain purity,
           order and observe all safety rules when performing work. It is
           forbidden to engage in a laboratory by a third party work.
           Inaccuracies, inattentiveness and haste often lead to accidents with
           grave consequences. Each student should know where the fire
           safety and first aid kit are located in the laboratory, be able to use
           them and provide first aid in case of accidents.
                 Syntheses should be carried out in clean dishes. After
           completing the demonstration experiments engineer, students
           should leave the laboratory dishes clean.
                 You can determine the smell of substances only if necessary
           and with the permission of the teacher, while carefully gently
