investigate the properties of certain classes of organic compounds,
to establish the composition and structure of certain substances, to
conduct simple synthesis.
A characteristic feature of most experiments is to hold them
with small quantities of substances - grams and their fractions, in
3
volumes of 1-5 cm , which allows you to save significantly
reagents and time. Operations with small amounts of substances
require carefulness, diligence, and cleanliness, that is, they form
the skills necessary for the students to work in a chemical
laboratory.
At the beginning of each laboratory work, brief theoretical
information and progress of this work are presented. Getting to
the laboratory work, the student must know the sequence of
experiments, the theoretical substantiation of the flow of chemical
processes and the possibility of their experimental confirmation.
After each laboratory work, an example of the control work
option, which students independently perform at the beginning of
each laboratory session according to individual tickets, is given.
They are also provided a task for independent work of students to
check the knowledgeand skills of students that they acquired
during the preparation for the class. Thus, this laboratory
workshop will allow students to prepare themselves for laboratory
work, learn how to compare the results of experiments with
theoretical knowledge gained at lectures and make general
conclusions.
