GENERAL GUIDELINES
Laboratory work - one of the important parts of the
educational process, where students learn the skills of
experimental work, the ability to work with devices,
independently draw conclusions from the experimental data
obtained and thereby more deeply and fully master the theoretical
material of this discipline. It is in the process of laboratory studies
that students are introduced to the methods of obtaining, the
behavior and properties of organic compounds and learn to
explain their observations, based on the basic theoretical positions
of organic chemistry.
This laboratory workshop is compiled in accordance with
the Work Program on Organic Chemistry for students of the first
year of training courses 6.050304 - "Naftogazovaya business".
Laboratory work is presented in separate sections according
to the classes of organic compounds. The main attention is paid to
qualitative responses to the main functional groups and elements.
In order to intensify the systematic work of the students and to
check the readiness of each person for the tasks of the laboratory
practice, it is recommended to carry out the current control of the
knowledge necessary for the successful and safe execution of the
laboratory work. It is conducted in writing (before each
laboratory work 15-20 minutes are spent on writing control work).
Laboratory work is recommended to perform demonstratively.
The protection of laboratory work involves the execution of a
report on the performance of work (in accordance with the terms
of the workshop).
A laboratory workshop on organic chemistry is conducted in
parallel with the lecture course because the laboratory works are
directly related to the basic provisions that are taught at the
lectures and greatly facilitate the assimilation of the material. The
purpose of the laboratory workshop on organic chemistry is to: on
the example of individual substances, to develop the ability to
