                       Business  process  management  life  cycle  includes  the  following

               typical  activities:  Design,  modeling,  execution,  monitoring,  and

               optimization.



                       BUSINESS PROCESS AUTOMATION (BPA)


                       Business Process Automation (BPA) uses technology to substitute

               and/or supplement manual processes to manage information flow within

               an organization.

                       Use  of  BPA  lowers  costs,  reduce  risk,  and  increase  consistency.

               Using  Business  process  automation,  enterprise  can  easily  exchange


               information  among  business  application.  BPA  involves  the  use  of

               software to automate the process wherever possible and reduce human

               intervention in the process. With BPA, process becomes more predictable,

               efficient and less risky.




                       INFORMATION SYSTEMS IN THE ENTERPRISE

                       An information system is a set of hardware, software, data, people,

               and produces that work together to produce information. A procedure is a


               single instruction or set of instruction that a user can follow to accomplish

               an activity. Information systems can be general (i.e. used by almost any

               department  within  enterprise),  or  they  can  be  specific  (i.e.  used  by  a

               particular department within enterprise). Integrated information systems

               are used by multiple departments. These systems facilitate information
