Basic concepts
Philosophy is a theoretical form of world views, knowledge about the world as
a whole.
Philosophy is a special level of thinking, where the thought acknowledges itself
in its relation to reality and is looking to define the definitive, absolute principles for
its own acts of self-assertionin the world.
Philosophy is also defined as the science of the nature’s, society’s, and mind’s
most global laws, as the methodology of cognition, as a form of ideology.
World view is a set of generalized representations about the world, the self,
their relationship with the world, one’s role in the world and the purpose of life. It is
not am observation of particular things, but look at the world in its global dimension
(nature, cosmos, person, society, good and evil, beauty, etc.).
Values – social characteristics of objects, significant for a person
Comprehension is the emotional and psychological sphere (feeling, emotion,
emotions, stereotypes, etc.). It depends on the emotional disposition (joy, optimism,
pessimism, happiness, etc.).
Understanding (perception) – is the intellectual level. Understanding of the
world takes place in categorical (conceptual) form. Beliefs is formulated at this level.
Anthropomorphism – the representation of Gods, or nature, or non-human
animals, as having human form, or as having human thoughts and intentions.
Sometimes this is avowedly metaphorical, the problem being to understand for what
it is a metaphor.
