                            Task  12.Practise  saying  reading  these  sentences  aloud,  paying
                                  attention to the pronunciation of [b]:
                                   1.Bessie  the  buxom  barmaid  bringing  a  bottle  of  best
                            brown beer from the bar at the back of the “Bull and Bush”.
                                   2.Barbara  is  a  beautiful  blonde  with  bright  blue  eyes.
                            Barbara  is  bathing  blissfully  in  a  bubble  bath.  Barbara's  baby
                            brother Bobby is bouncing a big beach ball.

                            Task 13. Practise saying the words  and the phrases correctly:

                                   1. A large pack – a large back; a poppy – a bobby, a big
                            pig, people praying – assess praying
                                   2.A bold spy put a big bomb in a pork pie. The pork pie
                            blew up a politician with a big bang in a public bar.

                                   Phonemes  [t], [d] - in their pronouncing the front and the
                                                          central  parts  of  the  tongue  are
                                                          comparatively  flat,  the  tip  of  the
                                                          tongue  is  pressed  against  the  teeth
                                                          ridge,   forming     a    complete
                                                          obstruction.  Then  the  tension  is
                                                          released  and  the  air  compressed  in
                                                          the  mouth  cavity  breaks  the
                                                          obstruction   with    plosion.   In
                            pronouncing  [t],  the  vocal  cords  do  not  vibrate.  It  is  aspirated,
                            especially  before  stressed  vowels.  In  pronouncing  [d]  the  vocal
