Task 2. Memorize the following nursery rhime, pay special attention
to the pronunciation of [k]:
There was an old man
Who when little
Fell casually into a kettle.
But growing too stout
He could never get out.
So he spent all his life in that kettle.
Task 3. Practise the following dialogue. Learn it by heart.
A: You can’t keep a pet in these apartments.
B: Can’t I keep a cat?
A: You can’t keep a pet in these apartments.
B: Can’t I keep a puppy?
A: You can’t keep a pet in these apartments.
B: Or a kitten perhaps?

B: Not even a tortoise?

B: Then why not try a parrot for instance?
Task 4. Practise saying reading these sentences aloud, paying
