Who will be awarded the first ever Ukrainian Grammy
analogue?
In February the arts and concert hall “Ukrayina” will host
the first ever YUNA (Yearly Ukrainian National Awards)
ceremony, celebrating 20 years of independent Ukraine‘s music
industry. The first awards ceremony will honour the artists‘
personal achievement in the industry over that time span, further
on the awards will be presented annually.
The special guests of the ceremony are Thomas Anders
(‘Modern Talking‘) Karl Frierson (‘De Phazz‘) and Oceana who
will première the full version of EURO-2012‘s official song
"Endless Summer".
Winners will be announced in 8 categories: Best Male
Artist, Best Female Artist, Best Album, Best Group, Best Record /
Song,, Best Musical Composition, Best Lyrics, Best Music Video
Production. Besides, the first ever YUNA for distinguished
achievements in the field will go to Sophia Rotaru.
