personality and during this process the identification with other people is lost.
Thus, through the identification with other people, the process of forming a
personal identity begins. There may be extremes of this identification, such as
isolation, which in the end generates anxiety and insecurity, but this process can
lead to the formation of a qualitatively new form of proximity to society – the
proximity of an individual with a mature identity, capable of "developing inner
strength and creative activity, that are the prerequisites for this new type of
connectivity to the world". Conformity and self-centeredness are two extremes that
have a detrimental effect on the formation of personal identity.
E. Erickson introduced for the first time the concept of "identity". In his
understanding, identity is "the organization of life experiences in the ego of an
individual". This concept shows close connection between the human psyche and
the nature of the society in which a person lives. Erickson introduced the concept
of "group identity", which is being formed from the first days of life; a child is
focused on inclusion in a particular social group, begins to understand the world as
a group. But gradually a child forms his own "identity", a sense of sustainability
and continuity of his "I," despite the fact that there are many changes. Formation of
his identity is a long process; it contains a number of stages of personality
development. Each stage is characterized by tasks of this age, and tasks are put
forward by the society.

At the stage of childhood (1 stage) mother plays the main role in the life of
a child, she feeds, cares, gives kindness and care, as a result of which a child
develops basic trust in the world. Basic trust is expressed in the ease of feeding, a
good baby's sleep, normal bowel work, a child's ability to calmly wait for his
mother (not to scream, call, the child is confident that the mother will come and do
what is needed). The dynamics of trust development depends on the mother. A
severe deficiency of emotional communication with a baby leads to a sharp decline
in mental development of a child.

The 2 stage of early childhood is associated with the formation of
autonomy and independence, a child begins to walk, learns to control himself when
performing acts of bowel movements; society and parents teach a child to be well-
groomed. Social disapproval opens the eyes of a child who feels the possibility of
punishment and creates a sense of shame. At the end of the stage, there should be a
balance between "autonomy" and "shame".

At the age of 3-5, at the 3 stage, a child is convinced that he/she is a person,
because he/she runs, is able to speak, expands the sphere of mastering the world,
the child gains a sense of entrepreneurship, the initiative laid in the game.

At a younger school age (4 stage), a child exhausts the opportunities for
development within the family, and now the school involves it in cognozing the
