According to Art. 16 of the Law of Ukraine "On Labor Protection" at the
enterprise with the purpose of ensuring proportional participation of workers in
solving any questions of safety, hygiene of work and the industrial environment by

the decision of the labor collective, a commission on labor protection can be created,
which is a permanent acting body of the labor collective.

The Commission consists of representatives of employers and trade unions and
employees authorized persons, experts in occupational safety, health and other utility
services in accordance with model provisions adopted by the specially authorized
central executive body for supervision of labour protection.

The decisions of the commission are advisory.
