1.2 Short description of mechanism’s parts


                   The  illustrated  linkage  planar  mechanism  (see  fig.  1.2)
             consists of the crank 1, connection rods 2 and 4, rocker 3 and
             slider  5.  The  crank  1  rotates  about  the  fixed  point  O.  The
             connection rods 2 and 4 have planar motion. The rocker 3 has
             oscillation  motion  about  the  fixed  point  O 1.  The  slider  5  has
             sliding motion in vertical direction. This mechanism is used for
             transforming crank’s 1 rotational motion into slider’s 5 sliding
             motion.
