Enterprise storage system is a centralized repository of information
that provides management, protection, and sharing of information. The
goal of an enterprise storage system is storage consolidation so that
operations run as efficiently as possible. Enterprise storage system
typically connects to numerous similar or dissimilar computer systems.
Enterprise storage systems are capable of withstanding heavy
workloads of business-critical information. These systems are scalable
and can be extended without excessive cabling.
Most enterprise storage systems deal with enormous amounts of
data. These systems may use servers, RAID, tape library, optical disk
