               library is a high-capacity tape system that uses multiple tape cartridges to


               backup  data.  An  optical  disc  server  uses  hundreds  of  optical  discs  to

               backup  programs,  and  data  Internet  backup  facilities  provide  online

               backup of data, information, and instructions. Enterprise storage systems

               often use fiber channel to connect to storage systems. These fiber channels

               can  provide  data  rates  up-to  4  Gbps.  An  optical  disk  server  can  hold


               hundreds of optical disks that can store programs and data.

                       Enterprise storage systems can provide data-storage capacities of

               185 TB or more. The use of SAN in an enterprise storage system can

               create multiple paths to the data for faulttolerance.

                       Some significant benefits of the enterprise storage system include


               high availability, disaster recovery, data sharing, efficient/reliable backup

               and restoration, centralized administration, and remote support.
