systematic approach to increasing the level of efficiency of the use of
                  energy  resources.  The  standard  has  been  implemented  for  all
                  organizations. Ukraine has national standards that regulate activities in
                  the field of energy management, energy auditing, energy conservation

                  and energy efficient lighting.
                         In  order  to  further  increase  the  efficiency  of  the  Ukrainian
                  economy, reducing its dependence on imported fuel, in conditions of

                  rising  energy  prices  it  is  necessary  to  create  and  develop  energy
                  management systems in all enterprises, institutions and organizations.
                         The  main  areas  of  activity  in  the  field  of  energy  efficiency
                  improvement  of  the  country's  economy  are:  compliance  with  the

                  requirements for adaptation of the domestic regulatory framework and
                  national  standards  in  accordance  with  the  requirements  of  EU
                  legislation; drafting and adoption  of  the  Law  of  Ukraine  on Energy

                  Efficiency;  Creation  of  a  Fund  for  Energy  Efficiency  for  the
                  Sustainable  Financing  of  National  Energy  Efficiency  Programs  and
                  Support to Energy Efficient Projects of Business Entities; creation of

                  the National system for monitoring the indicators of energy efficiency
                  and  energy  balance;  reduction  of  consumption  of  primary  energy
                  resources per unit of GDP by 20% by 2020.
