under  the  supervision  of  a  teacher.  A  lot  of  law  textbooks  with
                  different  approaches  to  determining  the  structure  of  certain  specific
                  areas of law can complicate students’ individual work while preparing
                  for seminars.

                         The  proposed  guideline  aims  at  clear  defining  the  structure  of
                  specific issues: each theme includes key issues, divided into test tasks
                  and  questions.  It  sets  clear  and  transparent  criteria  for  evaluating

                  students' knowledge and facilitates better learning the material.
                         In addition, the guideline provides conditions for introduction of
                  rating  system  of  knowledge  assessment, as using  it during  seminars
                  allows to manage classroom time for controlling students' knowledge

                  more efficiently. The recitation of students in the group according to
                  the test tasks and questions helps assess their knowledge quickly and
                  efficiently.

                         More  efficient  use  of  time  employment  (in  particular,  through
                  the  proposed  methodology  of  recitation)  also  allows  to  use  various
                  forms of students’ activization such as discussions on specific issues,

                  usage  of  teaching  aids,  method  of  working  in  small  groups  and
                  method of brainstorming to solve practical problems, role playing and
                  simulations aimed at consolidating and using practical skills, analysis

                  of legal issues related to the practice of law enforcement activity, etc.
                         The  purpose  of  discipline  "Science  of  Law"  is  to  develop
                  students’ basic knowledge and skills for applying law regulations in
                  practice. Students’ understanding the role of rights, its functions and

                  tasks,  place  of  law  among  other  social  tools  will  deepen  their
                  knowledge of rights, freedoms and responsibilities, understanding the
                  mechanism, scope and methods of their implementation.

                         Results  expected  after  mastering  the  discipline  "Science  of
                  Law"
                         As a result of studying the course students should:
                         Know:

                         - general theoretical legal concepts and categories;
                         - nature, object, method of legal regulation of main branches in
                  the legal system of Ukraine;

                         - system and peculiarities of current legislation in Ukraine;
                         - main methods of applying the legal norms and ways of solving
                  the problems about implementation of legal regulations.
