IV.  Underline  all  the  articles  in  the  following  piece  of
                            writing. Describe their function from the grammatical point of
                            view.  Render  this  passage  into  Ukrainian.  Analyze  means  of
                            rendering English articles into Ukrainian.
                                   A  12-year-old  boy  got  mad  at  his  parents  Friday  night
                            because they refused to let him go fishing on to the Colorado River
                            with  relatives.  So,  while  his  parents  were  distracted  during  a
                            barbecue with eight adult friends, he slipped away from his sister
                            and three brothers, snatched the keys to a Volkswagen Beetle and
                            drove off in one of his parent’s four cars, prompting fears that he
                            had been kidnapped.

                                   V.  Point  out  the  difference  in  the  lexical  meaning
                            expressed by the definite and the indefinite articles signalizing
                            respectively the rheme and the theme in the sentences below.
                            Pay  attention  to  the  place  which  the  rhematic  and  thematic
                            nouns occupy in their Ukrainians variants.
