3.3 Walking Submersible Drilling Platform
This submersible drilling platform is a steel, non-propelled
and walking platform which contains the main platform and
external bottom hull, meanwhile, it can walk and move in the tidal
zone (fig. 3.3). The main platform is made up by the upper deck,
bottom hull and element pillar system, furthermore, there is a
helicopter deck on the platform. What the characteristics (tabl.
3.1)above can prove this platform is very suit for working in the
maritime space such as river mouth, swamp, tidal zone and neritic
area.
