human being along with his earthly delights, becomes the greatest value.
The students should compare the main postulates of “State” by Plato and
“Utopia” by More and pay attention to the ideas borrowed from

Christianity and to the importance of religion in the study of utopians. T.
More underlines the importance of moral thought in the life of people,
which results in religious tolerance, negative attitude to violence and

            war, love to work.
                   M. Kyzanskyi (1401 – 1464) – is one of the founder of Italian
naturalistic philosophy, who played an important role in the sphere of
anthropology and the theory of a human being cognition. It`s interesting

to know that he connects the theory of a human being on the one hand
with the study of the Universe, which was present in ancient philosophy,
on the other hand he emphasizes the Christian dogma about the earthen

personification of divine essence, a human being is “a human God”. In
his ontology of a man M. Kyzanskyi tried to solve the dilemma of endless
and non – endless, individual and general concepts. Sticking to the
humanistic traditions he regards every person as a personality, a unique

individual, who is able to combine all the multiformity of the world,
reach the level of perfection and even God. Studying the recommended
work, it should be taken into consideration that there is a relation between

a philosophical anthropology of M. Kyzanskyi and his study of Christ as
upper maximum. The nature of a human being is solved by M. Kyzanskyi
not only through joining with the universe, not only by original

Christology, but also through gnoseological substance. According to
M.Kyzanskyi due to his intelligence and intellect a human being appears
as a harmonic creation. Giving the examples of scientific “lack of

knowledge”, the philosopher shows the dialectic way of truth perception,
which reaches the intellectual contemplation, that opens the new way of
mystical vision. In fact, the mystical theory of Kyzanskyi was an
advanced step from scholastics and gave the right to a human being for

individual spirituality and creative cognition of himself and the world.

Philosophical works, recommended for the study of the
