                                           Intonation of Direct Address.

sentence. At the beginning of the sentence a direct address is
always stressed and usually forms a separate sense-group and is
                            pronounced with a falling-rising tone.
E.g. Granny, have I any cousins?

In the official style a direct address is characterized by a falling
tone and usually forms a separate sense-group.
