5.3 The equipment, machinery and materials
Measuring the azimuth angle and curvature of the wells is
performed by special devices, inclinometers, which can be
grouped into three categories:
1) inclinometers with remote electrical measurements;
2) Photos inclinometers;
3) gyroscopic inclinometers.
In the first two group inclinometers elements curvature of
the well are defined using the earth's magnetic field and gravity.
