The cultural (social) anthropology is a branch of scientific knowledge that
examines the content of a common human activity. It originated in the nineteenth
century primarily as a study of the culture of peoples of North and South America,
Africa, Australia and Oceania. It emerged within the anthropology as a field of
scientific knowledge that focuses on the study of the problems of human existence
in the natural and artificial environment. The anthropological disciplines include
archeology, ethnography, ethnology, folklore, linguistics, physical and social
anthropology.
The philosophy of culture is a philosophical discipline that studies the
diversity of culture in all its historical forms and structural modifications. It is
presented as a methodology of cultural studies, because it provides educational
guidelines and means for studying cultural phenomena.
