These practices are written according to Advanced Sections of Mathematics syllabus. It
contains many examples with a detailed description of mathematical methods and its solutions
from the following section of Advanced Mathematics: partial differential equations. The proposed
practices contribute to the appearance of practical skills in students to solve problems from
mathematical physics problems, show an application of methods of partial differential equation
theory to construct mathematical models of various multidimensional processes in technics
and nature. For the models we use suitable physics laws. This book is illustrated by numerous
examples and solutions, as well as figures to it. They improve clarification of theoretical context.
The lecture notes are intended for English-speaking students of all engineering specialities
in higher technical schools.
