Cut is also calculated for overlapping weld performing with
bead weld: frontal (the bead is perpendicular to the direction of
force fig. 4.8 a) or the phalangeal (the bead is parallel to the
direction of force fig. 4.8, b).

The normal profile of bead weld is isosceles right triangle. If
the profile is shaped like that shown in fig. 4.9 (reinforced bead
weld ) the same calculated is the section in the shape of an
isosceles triangle.
