I/you/he/she/it/we/they+did not (didn’t) + V1
She didn’t clean the house yesterday.
You didn’t go to the swimming pool last Friday.
I/he/she/it+was not (wasn’t)
You/we/they+were not (weren’t)
He wasn’t at home yesterday evening.
We weren’t satisfied with the results of the work.
Did + I/you/he/she/it/we/they + V1?
Did she book the tickets? – Yes, she did. /No, she didn’t.
Did they drive to the station? – Yes, they did. /No, they didn’t.
Was he at the university yesterday? – Yes, he was. /No, he wasn’t.
Were they tired? – Yes, they were. /No, they weren’t.
