                        Task 4. Define whether the following statements are true or

                        false and translate them. Correct the false ones according to
                        the text.

                        1. Measurements  of  distances,  directions  and  height  can  be
                  undertaken in surveying methods.
                        2. Transverse  survey  measures  the  angles  of  a  series  of

                  overlapping triangles, polygons, or quadrilaterals.
                        3. The vertical control network is established by using differential
                  leveling.

                        4. Radio compass permits the precise measurement of elevational
                  differences  between  known  and  unknown  points  on  the  Earth’s
                  surface.
