According to data given normal distribution curve built
directly on the chart of the actual size. At the same graph (Fig.
8.4) is applied in the adopted scale value specified tolerance
field 26 -0,52 mm with boundaries of 26 (upper) and 25.48
(lower), and through the upper and lower boundaries of the
admission field, they conduct ordinates to the intersection with
the normal distribution curve.
The value of the shaded area in the boundaries of the
admission field, referenced to the entire area of the normal
distribution curve, determines the probability of obtaining parts
in the admission limits, and hence the possibility of obtaining
details beyond the boundaries of the admission field, that is, the
probability of obtaining a marriage.
The probability of obtaining a defect (in percentages) is
determined: for the case of the displacement of the center of the
scattering field from the middle of the tolerance field (abscissa)
and for the case of coincidence of the center of the scattering
field with the middle of the tolerance field (abscissa).
