                                4.  Sue  and  Cecily  are  sisters.  Sue  is  sixteen  this  summer.
                            Cecily was seventeen last Sunday. Sue is sowing grass seed. She
                            sees Cecily asleep with glass of cyder and a nice sixpenny ice by
                            her side. Sue slips across, sips the glass of cyder and eats the ice.
                            Cecily gets such a surprise when she wakes.

                            Task  49.  Memorize  the  following  nursery  rhime,  pay  special
                                   attention to the pronounciation of [s]:
                                A sailor went to sea, sea, sea
                                To see what he could see, see, see,
                                But all that he could see, see, see
                                  Was the bottom of the deep blue sea, sea, sea.

                            Task 50. Practise reading the following words and phrases, paying
                            special  attention  to  the    pronunciation  of  [s]  in  combination  with
                            other consonants and vowels:
                            Exercise 1: st- at the end of words:
                            Baste, beast, best, bossed, boxed, context, creased, crossed;  lust,
                            missed. Mixed,  most, must, next, past, placed, post, raced, taste,
                            text, toast, waste, worst, yeast.

                            Exercise 2: -st- in phrases:
                            First of all, first song, fixed cars, last night, last summer, missed
                            the train.

                            Exercise 3: -ts at the end of words:
                            Aunts, aunts, bets, blitz,  boats, bouts, cadets, cats, chats; quarts,
                            quits,  rabbits,  rates,  rats, rebates,  reiterates,  repeats,  rights,  rites,
