Enlightenment did much to increase human consciousness for the liberation of the
human mind. The Enlightenment rationalism became one of the main directions of
development of the European culture not only in the XIXth, but also in the XXth
century. However, the thinkers of the XVIIIth century created new stereotypes: a
‘common sense’ in the public mind, idea of mandatory submission of the will of
one person to the public interests, absolute correctness of the majority of education
under the same equal conditions and equal right of law-abiding citizens of the
limitless possibilities of the person and the right to redraw its discretion in the
world until turning north year.
