MYKHAILO‘S DAILY ACTIVITIES
Mykhailo wakes up at six o'clock every morning, He gets up, takes a shower, gets
dressed, and eats breakfast. After breakfast he reads the newspaper until 7:15, and then he
leaves for work. He gets on the bus at the bus stop, rides it to the Nadiia Hotel gets off, and
walks to his office. He works until five o'clock. He usually goes and plays basketball with
friends after work. Then he goes home. Mykhailo leads a very boring life.
MY MORNING
It seems my life is always very full of activities and obligations so I never have much
time for myself. During the week it's the worst. I usually have to get up at half past six even
though I would really prefer to sleep much later. After I get up, I wash my face, clean my teeth,
and then decide what to wear. After I get dressed, I brush my hair. I usually don’t have time for
breakfast in the morning because I have to catch a bus at seven o'clock. The bus is usually
completely packed and it really makes me envy my co-workers who don't have to ride the bus
to work.

Task 5. Read and translate into Ukrainian
Positive sentences:
The sun sets in the west. We produce lasers for cosmetic surgery. They move into their
new home next week. So, I go to Mr. D and say “I deserve a better mark in this class”. Jones
stops in mid-court and passes the ball to Schuster. I always study hard for exams. Do you
usually speak to him like that? Ben goes to football practice every Tuesday. In general, I
believe that all people can live in peace. Do you go to the supermarket every week?
Negative sentences:
I don’t like the food they serve at that restaurant. Jim doesn’t work on Fridays. My
