readings). Technical characteristics of downhole saturimeter are the
following: the working pressure is up to 30 MPa; the working
temperature is up to 100 °С; the volume of the device chamber is

50 сm ; the length is 1900 mm; the diameter is 40 mm; the mass is 12
kg.
Downhole triometer. The device is applied for determining three
parameters of formation oil (the density of formation oil, gas content
of formation oil and formation oil volume factor) simultaneously.
A body of the downhole triometer is made of the steel pipe of
relatively not big diameter. This enables its putting down into
the tubing of the diameter 60 mm. All units of the device are situated
inside of the body. Downhole triometer consists of the capsule with
the needle-type flow bean for removal of formation oil and two
pistons which ensure the access of the sample of oil into the hollow
of the capsule and its hermetization. The interaction of the pistons’
system is regulated by means of the piezodrive that is the hydraulic
power time relay. Fig. 12.2 shows the chart of downhole triometer
capsule.
Technical characteristics of the downhole triometer are the
following: the maximum working pressure is up to 30 MPa;
the working temperature is up to 100 °С; the volume of the device

chamber is 50 сm ; the length is 950 mm; the diameter is 38 mm;
the mass is 8 kg; the quantity of capsules is 3 capsules.
