7. Imagine that you win a lot of money and you can buy anything that you
                            want. What would you buy? Share your answer with your groupmates.

                            8. Have you ever returned anything to a store? What reason did you give? Did
                            you  get  your  money  back?  Did  you  buy  any  other  items?  Discuss  these
                            questions with your groupmates.


                            9.  What  is  most  important  to  you  when  you  go  shopping?  Is  choice  or
                            convenience more important? In groups, make up a list of 10 things in order
                            of their importance.

                            10.Agree or disagree. Give your reasons.

                             1.  If you think money can’t buy happiness, you’ve been shopping in
                                 the wrong places.
                             2.  Shopping is my Everest.
                             3.  Shopping is a social event… It makes you feel normal. Most people
                                 find it cheers them up – even window shopping.
                             4.  A woman’s place is in the mall.
                             5.  I  like  window-shopping.  Every  shopkeeper  tries  to  attract  the
                                 attention of the passers-by by a special effort in good taste. And I
                                 don’t take money with me on purpose. Otherwise I’ll spend all of it
                                 on small useless things.
                             6.  I never buy anything at once. I have to make up my mind first and
                                 see if I can afford it.
                             7.  I like shopping on my own. I don’t like anyone to bother me while
                                 I’m shopping.
                             8.  Because  of  the  large  number  of  brand  names  that  are  available,
                                 different companies have to improve the quality of their items.
                             9.  Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it
                                 every six months.
                            11. Make up a dialogue based on the following ad: “Dogwood Drive 111.
                            Huge Garage Sale. Moving out of country! Furniture, 4 bikes, microwave,
                            computer, luggage, power  tools, clothing and lots of household necessities.
                            Everything must go! Fri. & Sat. 9 – 3.
