6 LABORATORY WORK № 3
RESEARCH OF STRUCTURE OF INJECTION
SYSTEM OF FUEL AND ITS ELEMENTS
6.1 The purpose of the work. The purpose of the work is
to master and deepen the training material on the structure of
the components of the fuel injection system.
6.2 Knowledge and skills. As a result of laboratory work
the student must know:
- Typical location of the fuel injection system elements of
the automobile engine;
- structure of elements of systems of injection of fuel of
cars;
- acquisition of skills of disassembly-assembly of elements
of systems of injection of fuel of cars.
6.3 General Terms and Conditions. Functionally, the
injection system of gasoline consists of a block of devices input
parameters (sensors), a block of control devices, a block of
devices output parameters C (actuators). Analog signals are
received from the sensors control unit. Or, in other words, the
unit of control devices is not directly supplied with
temperature, pressure, etc., and their electrical analogue is a
current, with parameters that change accordingly (voltage,
current strength). Depending on the setup, one or another
sensor can be installed.
The most commonly used gasoline injection sensors are:
- temperature sensor of the coolant;
- the frequency sensor and the position of the crankshaft;
- mass flow sensor;
- position sensor of the throttle valve;
