Since the 1990s of the XXth century, following Ukraine’s independence and
                  the  beginning  of  the  development  of  a  democratic,  philosophically  pluralistic
                  society, Ukrainian cultural thought has gained new opportunities for development.
                  In today's Ukraine, a significant number of scholars are working on a characteristic

                  culturological  problem.  An  important  step  towards  the  establishment  of  cultural
                  science as a scientific discipline is the introduction into the curriculum of higher
                  education institutions of the special course "Culturology".
