The publishing standards of a scientific publication act as the control of the
                  form  of  representation  of  various  components  of  the  message.  Among  the  main


                  types of publishing standards are the rules for the basic plain text and for the basic
                  complex text, for illustrations, for the edition apparatus.


                         Characteristics  of  norms  for  the  basic  plain  text  are  the  norms  of  editing
                  numbers and signs: quantitative numerals, ordinal numerals, numerals in complex


                  nouns and adjectives, signs in the text. The norms for editing dates and times of the

                  day are the rules for dating facts, the form of writing dates and periods, indicating

                  the time of day.

                         The norms for editing lists are the recommended use of different types of

                  lists and designations of their elements; the principle of unifying the designation of

                  the elements of the list; the form of the text preceding the list; punctuation marks in

                  the phrase with the list; recommended capitalization.

                         The norms for editing cuts - types of abbreviations, the basic requirements

                  for  the  abbreviations  of  words  and  phrases;  rules  of  graphic  abbreviations  of

                  words,  the  use  of  commonly  used  graphic  abbreviations,  special  and  individual

                  graphic  abbreviations;  rules  for  writing  initial  abbreviations,  use  of  initial

                  abbreviations; difficult words; reduction of the mixed form.

                         The  norms  for  editing  the  links  are  general  requirements  for  the  editorial

                  release of references to the elements of the publication, especially the references to

                  individual elements of the publication [11, p. 59].

                         The norms for editing quotes are the general rules of quotation; the use of

                  quotes; paragraphs in the citation; large and small letters at the beginning of the

                  quote; triplet; notes with quotations; punctuation marks in a phrase with a quote.

                  Quotes "without quotation marks" are a trend in the  modern style of journalistic

                  works.

                         Characteristics of norms for the main complex text are the rules for editing

                  tables:  the  structure  of  the  table,  the  types  of  tables,  requirements  for  the

                  presentation  of  the  head,  side  and  table  programs.  General  norms  for  editing

                  formulas.
