4 CONTENT OF SELF-RELIANT STUDY

For self-reliant work on the subject "Fundamentals of
Petroleum Engineering. Module-4 - Fundamentals of Petroleum
Technologies" highlighted 34 hours in the second semester. This
time is for the study of the lecture course.
History, current status and prospects of the oil and gas
industry of Ukraine.
Types of oil and gas collectors.
The composition and basic physical and chemical
properties of oil and gas. Types of natural reservoirs of oil and gas.
Wells construction, purpose of separate parts. Drilling
tools, types of drill bits. Surface equipment for drilling. Methods
of downhole equipment. Features of offshore drilling. Completion
and wells testing methods.
Modes of oil field development. Methods of increase oil
recovery from the reservoir. Modes of natural gas fields
development. Methods of enhanced hydrocarbon recovery factor
from condensate, gas condensate and oil and gas-condensate fie-
lds. Features of offshore oil and gas fields development.
Wellbore and wellhead equipment of flow and artifitial
methods of well operation. Wellbore and wellhead equipment of
gas wells. Methods of enhanced oil and gas production and their
usage conditions. Methods of combating of complications during
