Metrology instruments should not be subjected to rough
conditions of use; for example:
– no shocks;
– no vibrations;
– restricted temperature field;
– possibility of leaving the electronic instruments working
permanently;
– handling by qualified personnel.
All this can be taken into account when selecting the types of
instruments.
Finally, it is no use choosing instruments that are automatic or
equipped with a remote control, nor electronic instruments that reach
their nominal characteristics after only a few minutes.
