PREFACE

Today the urgency of the problem of life safety of people has risen

significantly. This problem has become a priority for world civilization.

The importance of studying the subject of "Life Safety and Civil Protection"

is due to the need to train people for actions in hazardous situations, starting from

an early age. For this there were special education programs that became

mandatory components of global education standards.

Every man with higher education should realize the importance of avoiding

risks in life and work. Training of students within this academic discipline includes

practice task, aimed primarily at shaping attitudes, and developing the ideology of

conduct, providing future professionals with important tool of daily safe contact

with the outside world.

This Practical Course publication is intended for training in higher technical

schools at all specialties. As a result after studying the subject students will get the

skills, knowledge, and competence for professional activity in specialty, taking into

account the risks of industrial accidents and natural hazards that can cause

emergencies and lead to adverse effects on the objects of management.
